• Young Hearts Run Free was set up in 2008 in order to help promote the creative community in Ireland, as well as raise funds for the Simon Community, one of Ireland’s homeless organisations.

    -
  • We put our events on in unusual spaces, in order to reappreciate and reimagine the city, and so far we have been on hillsides in Howth, pubs, churches, galleries, basements of office blocks, and  private homes; and have had contributions from people like, our President Michael D. Higgins, Paul Muldoon, Villagers, Mike Scott, Andy Irvine, Alasdair Roberts, Katie Kim, Porcelain Raft, David O’Doherty, Kevin Barry, Dónal Lunny, Lisa O’Neill, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, Mossy Nolan and several other brilliant artists.

    -
  • We have had some really special moments, and raised several thousand euros for the homeless in the process, and hope to create more in the coming years.
